Testimonials

Dr. Stan Seat has proven to be a caring, capable, dependable, and reasonable resource for churches experiencing the pain of possible financial mismanagement. We have engaged him for several projects and always been appreciative of his work. Never one to take shortcuts, Dr. Seat gets to the bottom of financial questions and finds answers. A great gift to the church!"

Rev. Jim Dorff, Area Provost,  North Texas Conference UMC

I have worked with Dr. Seat on several churches and exempt organizations.  He has provided many services that not only enhance their financial needs but overall strategic changes in their accounting systems.  He was instrumental in exposing a $1.2 million dollar fraud of a ministerial credit union, and Dr. Seat worked very close with me concerning the requirements of the insurance company and the federal authorities.  Dr.  Seat is an expert in church accounting systems, staffing, church lending packages, and fraud examination due to his extended experience in ministry and accounting.

I have known Stan and worked with him for several years on mutual nonprofit organizations. He has a unique perspective and background as an attorney, a CPA, a CFE and a church business administrator. He understands nonprofit organizations from “both sides of the fence,” and that perspective gives him insight into the issues leaders of nonprofits face regularly.

I have been in my position as Business Administrator for 3 ½ years. I was previously in the service industry where high expectations for exceptional customer service and rapid response were the standard. In my business relations with Stan Seat he has exhibited the professionalism and service I have grown accustomed to expect. Additionally, he has first hand experience in ministry which gives him a view most other legal counsel cannot provide. I have confidence that any issue I may experience Stan will be able to help me navigate through with integrity and a Godly perspective.

Stan was instrumental in assisting First Baptist Church of Allen in two legal matters. He was instrumental in FBCA securing it’s own designation as a 501(c)(3) with the IRS. His continued follow up to insure we remained on task insured the process continually moved forward. Stan also recognized a potential legal issue FBC could have incurred with an LLC we had formed during his initial consultation. He advised and walked us through the dissolution process but it was his sense of urgency getting it accomplished I was most impressed with. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing legal counsel.

The experiences I have had with Stan have been rewarding professionally but even more so personally. I consider him a friend.
